Was taking Truvada for a year but was feeling really bad the past
month. Went to the doctor who checked my t-cells, they are down to
165 so now officially have AIDS. Have KS sores all over my back and
it's spreading to my arms. Doesn't look like I'll live to see my
61st birthday, had a good run and have so much love to give, my
life is over.

I'm sorry to hear that, and I'm sure others are as well. Your dx
doesn't mean your life is over, however. You can still make the most of
what time and capacity you have left. Note that while this newsgroup is
ostensibly for support of cancer patients and caregivers, it's become
very quiet lately, so you may not get a lot of feedback here. I suggest
you look around a bit for other support groups, though you should
certainly feel free to contribute here as well. I wish you the best of
luck with your treatment.
