I found some news I thought you would want to see:
New Predictors of Treatment Response Identified for CRC
http://www.physiciansbriefing.com/Article.asp?AID=660386
Gene Involved in Familial Pancreatic Cancer Identified
http://www.physiciansbriefing.com/Article.asp?AID=660293
Cancer-Related Mortality Continues to Decrease
http://www.physiciansbriefing.com/Article.asp?AID=660359
Also, if you have some spare computer time available, you might want to consider using it for one or both of the cancer subprojects here:
World Community Grid
https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/index.jsp
Click on each of the small pictures under the big picture to see their various subprojects. Run partly by IBM, with only non-profit subprojects allowed. The best introduction I've found to BOINC (there are other BOINC sites available, but not as good for the first one you try). Supposed to run in the background without disturbing your other computer use, but I've found that it sometimes takes more memory to allow it to do this well.
