first Christmas as pontiff.

As we all know by now, Pope John XXIII appeared to coal
miners David Fellin and Hank Throne while they were entombed
underground following a cave-in in Pennsylvania 50 years ago
this August.

What made The Pontiff's appearance rather unusual is that he
was DEAD at the time, having passed away some 10 weeks BEFORE
the cave-in.

If I'm correct -- and I AM -- this constitutes a miracle,
the miners' miraculous rescue on the 14th day of their ordeal.

I may be wrong -- which, again, I'm NOT -- because it adds up
to the SECOND miracle that is required by the Vatican for
Pope John XXIII's canonization . . . which would mean that
all of us, even atheists and evolutionists, may soon be able
to address him as Saint in our prayers.
