I am not sure if anyone can help me

my father has only one lung and he was informed that he now has cancer in it , they cannot do a operation or chemo , I have been searching and searching for someone that has had this and who has lived through it or someone that knows anything about it.
will he survive ? how much time does he have left if he cannot get treatment ?
I need answers

I'm sorry to hear that. I don't know the answers, but I suspect it
would help those better clued-in than I am to know his age, what kind of
cancer it is (small-cell or non-small-cell), and why he can't have
surgery or chemo. Also, it matters how widespread it is. Overall, if
you have any way to do it, you're better off asking your father's
oncologist. HTH. I'm afraid that this group has become very quiet, but
at its best it's good for moral support, as well as some tips for
dealing with being a patient or caregiver. AFAIK, we only ever had one
actual cancer doctor here, and he was very careful about giving anything
that could be construed as medical advice.

What you can get is support and a sympathetic ear. The oncologist is
the person who has had the most experience in dealing with your
questions.
